Homey Retreat! A hidden gem tucked away in the bustling historic district of Kennett Square. Walking distance from all shops, restaurants, bars, and entertainment on the main strip. Historic charm and modern upgrades throughout make this a great place to experience and take in the full vibe this great town has to offer. 3 bedrooms, open living room, dining area, fully functioning kitchen, private backyard oasis, with off-street parking.

The space
This is a comfortable row home with electric artwork and decor among many other features:

-THE MAIN FLOOR is an open living/dining room with a 55 inch TV, built-in bookshelf, cozy modern furniture, and dining table.

-THE KITCHEN has is all brand new with a modern backsplash, butcher's block countertops, and stainless steel appliances including a gas oven range with an exhaust hood and built-in dishwasher. Stocked with coffee, tea selection, bottled water, and snacks.

-THE 2ND FLOOR includes 2 bedrooms with a hallway bath. A queen-sized bed in the primary bedroom with a full closet, and a full-sized bed in the second bedroom which has a walk-in closet with a make-up vanity area.

-THE BATHROOM has updated tile and a jacuzzi tub!

-THE 3RD BEDROOM is a converted basement bedroom with a queen-size bed, and TV.

-THE BACKYARD is secluded with high privacy fences and contains a deck that steps down to a flagstone patio with lounging furniture along with a brick patio and pergola with overhanging Edison bulbs and flowering scenery.

- PARKING is available in the front and the back of the house. Private space in the back and free curbside parking in the front.

Full access to the house. Please be mindful of neighbors and their property.
Other things to note
There are two window AC units located on the first floor and main floor.
~AC window units are removed during winter months (November - April)~

Charming Home in a Perfect Location
We had a lovely stay and hope to return. The house was exactly what we want in a vacation rental. It had charm and personality, was located within walking distance of cafes and restaurants and was very comfortable for the four of us. Communication with Ivanna was seamless. Our family has a wonderful stay.

Enjoyed a nice overnight in historic Kennett Square in a nicely renovated row home close to the main street shopping area. The house was clean and well appointed.

Had the best accommodations and Ivana was outstanding! Pre arrival and during communication and responsiveness was perfect. Close to everything in down town Kennett and great out door space to enjoy. Comfy, cozy and cute.

The décor was amazing, the layout was great - we commented on how well the owners had made use of all the available space. The location is just a short walk to cool shops and restaurants. Wonderful weekend getaway
My friends and I stayed here for a girl's weekend. It was really a perfect stay. The location is great for walking to shops and restaurants. The house is so cute and beautifully decorated. There were so many little details that made us feel we were somewhere special--the kitchen had coffee, tea, and snacks set out for us. The bathroom had nice toiletries and we had plenty of towels for our group of five. The backyard patio looked very cozy and is set up for relaxing in privacy. We loved it!

Perfect spot for family visit!
We had such a wonderful stay in Kennett Square visiting family. The townhome was even better than the photos! Loved the attention to detail, decor and comfy beds! The kitchen was well stocked, and Ivana was a wonderful host! She checked in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed and replied quickly to any question we had! We loved how close we were to great restaurants and coffee shops. Can't wait to stay here again next time were in town!

Stay was nice suggestion all other rentals stayed in had a book containing info wifi chalkboard very difficult to read things like a supermarket pharmacy info on major attractions etc a more personal touch.

Beautifully renovated vintage row house with a backyard oasis and delightful BoHo decorations. It is very short walk to the lovely downtown historic shopping district. Property owner was very responsive. Would happily come back again.

A weekend at Longwood
Great location for our visit to Longwood Gardens and just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants in Kennet Square. We spent a wonderful weekend at this cute townhouse: drinking wine and coffee in the back garden and cheering on marathon runners from the front porch. The decor is delightful, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed. We would return!

Perfect for a girlfriend getaway
My girlfriends and I stayed here to celebrate a special birthday. We could not ask for a better place. It was so clean and inviting. We loved the decor and discussed that we may have to move in forever. The town is adorable and everything was in walking distance. Our favorite was The Market for lunch and drinks and Portabello’s for dinner. We will definitely be coming back for a longer stay.

Just a perfect, cute, special place to stay. Remarkable decor and so many special extra's. Outdoor space is much nicer than pictures show. Great communication with owner. Quaint Row House
We really enjoyed our stay, it was only 1 night but it made me want to stay longer. The house was the perfect size for 3 people, loved the front porch and backyard area, we just weren't there long enough to take advantage of it! Host was great to communicate with and the property was unique, quaint and had everything we needed.

Fun Family Stay
Our 2 college-age kids were home for the holidays so we booked an overnight trip to Longwood Gardens. Homey Retreat was perfect in every way from the close proximity to Longwood, short walking distance to Kennett Square shopping and dining, safe location, and an awesome host. I loved the welcome board and message! Our daughter absolutely loved the downstairs bedroom! And our son appreciated the snacks! Thank you, Ivanka!

Great Location
Kennet Square is a lovely small town. It is a very easy walk from the property. Many restaurants close by. Drives to Longwood and Winterthur quite quick. The property is as advertised. Lovely backyard to sit and have a glass of wine at end of day. I would recommend new mattresses and pillows, other than that,very comfortable stay. Recommend! Host was always quick to respond.
