I stayed in the main lodge in Sept. The Cove is brand new and beautiful. I miss the Lodge but the cove has everything but the charming lobby with the Fire place

We were very happy with the convenience of the hotel to town. The room was clean and beautiful but there was continuous repiticious sound of a machine all day and night that was frustrating. The tv also would not allow us to use our accounts to watch any apps. Thank you for all your assistance with finding out room and the two 10.00 gift certificates to the store.since it was off season so no breakfast.

When staying in the fall, very limited amenities. No bar, no restaurant, view of a pond and tennis courts. There was someone’s meal left in the refrigerator. Other than that the room was clean. Building was fairly new. Advertising was very misleading, it really didn’t show where you would be staying . I feel they should not continue to put the main building in there advertising when it is closed down.

We loved the beautiful seaside location and meticulously groomed property. Our suite was bright and colorful cottage style and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. All staff were friendly and courteous. We will definitely be back !

Wonderful view of the ocean from the inn. Beautiful surroundings and a very friendly staff. Wifi on the premises was horrible if you're trying to use the web or watch tv but otherwise a wondedul stay.

This is a storied Hotel Resort that has just complete a new section to be year round. Original portion of the hotel is over 100 years old with breathtaking presence taking its position with views and sounds of the ocean. Breakfast buffet each morning left you wanting for nothing. A wonderful way to experience Kennebunkport.

Obviously, The Colony is a beautiful hotel in a prime location. I have stayed there previously, but the current breakfast buffet was a MAJOR disappointment. At prior stays, it was one of the highlights of the stay. Now it is no better than any ordinaryhotel chain "free breakfast." I am sorry to say this offset all the other things I loved and still love about The Colony.

Very nice stay in new building (Coveside). Clean, new, good housekeeping service. Breakfast in main building was good. Check in was easy , we received complimentary wine. Always a nice stay although expensive but that’s Kennebunkport.

The property is gorgeous! Sit on the wrap around porch and view the ocean. Walk across the street to the ocean! The lobby area is very warm and inviting! We love to sit by the fire and read after the sun sets or on a rainy day. The complimentary breakfast is bountiful! It’s pet friendly which is a must for us. It’s a nice walk to the middle of town. The rooms are quaint & comfortable. We’ve never splurged for an ocean view,we should! Now that we have found this place it’s part of our trip to Maine.

The colony was ok. This was our second time here and we were excited to be back. Unfortunately the front desk can use a little more courtesy. They charge you for the bicycles to take into town. The first bikes tire was flat. The second one the seat was broken. There were two weddings that weekend which made parking an almost impossibility. The old rustic unplugged flair is cool but just seems like the staff is indifferent towards the paying customers.

Nice place. Breakfast (a truly marvelous buffet) on the veranda was good (short people beware - the tables are tall and the comfy chairs are low). The hotel is in a lovely spot and felt very safe. NOTE: Dog owners, you won’t get a great room with a view. We got a small, austere room tucked in a corner. It met our needs, but for the price it was less than I was expecting. We ate on the veranda and on the patio. Good thing the weather was nice!
