"The cabin was so clean and cozy with a gorgeous stone fireplace and comfortable furnishings. We were visiting the area to view the Sandhill crane migration, and their flight pattern was right over the cabin. The cabin was close to town but seemed remote."

"Visiting Kearney for our 4'th Crane migration. The wonders of witnessing but a minuscule portion of their massive journey never gets old! This house is a beautiful update of a lovely old home: Hardwood floors, wood trim and fine workmanship of yesteryear graced with modern updates, tasteful decorations, comfortable furniture and a well-equipped kitchen made for a fabulous home base. Jeff and Patty are wonderful hosts, great communication, and the check-in/check-out process was painless....

"This is a charming old historic house with plenty of room for a group. The location is close to many businesses and easy to find. The only fault we could find was that the street outside is very busy and very loud until the wee hours of the morning. The street noise, however, is not the owner’s fault, and some of us just used noise cancelling earbuds at night- problem solved! "

"I debated writing this review but after staying in 3 other rentals during our trip, this was the only disappointing booking we had. We arrived & the overhead garage door was left up, with the door connecting into the house unlocked. Check in instructions stated there would be a lock box near the door with a house key, so immediatly I messaged the host asking if I should be concerned. Upon entering the home it was very noticeable that none of the floors had be cleaned. After getting a response...
