"Beautiful location and accommodation, well equipped and very maintained. Only minor criticism is the pool which is freezing all year, needs to be heated, solar or powered. Overall though we had a really nice stay. Denmark town is a short drive away and the beaches close too. Great brewery near by and chocolate lounge delicious. Will be back."

"The new 2 bedroom cabins were perfect for our family; a fully equipped kitchen, wifi (if you need it) and a front deck with webber bbq. The location is stunning and just a 5 min drive to Denmark for supplies and 20 mins to William Bay National Park. "

"The Grange on Calgan Farm is placed on beautiful grounds with views over the Kalgan River. It is very quiet and relaxing, however, even though it is advertised as pet and child friendly the host is not particularly friendly towards dogs and children. We had a lovely time in Albany, and spent hardly any time at the Grange, with two adults, two teenage children and a labrador, expecting a dog friendly place, as it was advertised, but did not feel welcome with our dog. Hiking Heaven

"Perfect place to base yourself for hiking in the Porongorups and Stirling Ranges. At the end of the day you can soak your weary bones in the spa and be watched over by the inquisitive cows. Great place to stay would highly recommend - just be aware wifi is limited."
