We did drive to Cascade Ski Resort to ski which is 1 hr away. This is the closest decent skiing. There is tubing 40 min away which requires no reservations. "The Paradise cabin was comfy and cozy! Having three bedrooms with four beds was perfect for the four of us. We walked around the pond in the new-fallen snow, cooked some delicious meals, enjoyed the spacious hot tub, and most importantly, hung out in the living room in front of the fireplace - lovely! "I would definitely recommend this place especially for families. My husband and I along with my daughter and her husband stayed in the upstairs area. My son and his wife and their 3 young daughters had the lower level. Plenty of room for all! We enjoyed the big backyard lakeside to play yard games and have campfires.
