Aptly named, Riverview lies in an excellent position with views of the River Kent. Situated in the heart of Kendal, this terraced property has been beautifully modernised and makes an ideal base for couples or a small family looking to explore the Lake District National Park. For those who like to be close to amenities, there are shops, pub and restaurants just a few hundred yards from the doorstep. Set out over three floors, there is a living/dining room and kitchen on the ground floor, a kingsize bedroom and single bedroom (with extra single bed if required) on the first floor, and a further double bedroom and family bathroom on the second floor. Outside, there is a courtyard to sit out in during the warmer months. Beach 9 miles. Shop 400 yards, pub and restaurant 175 yards.

The local council are setting up for the the construction of flood walls on the nearby river. It starts on 6th June 2022 and is planned for completion on 1st November 2022. The actual building works begins 1st November and will continue to 1st June 2023. During this time the property will have scaffolding in place.

What a fabulous stay we have had, can’t recommend it enough. Extremely comfortable, well equipped and chic. We loved the quirky notes placed around the house with useful tips and info. The house is within easy walking distance of the town and we thought it a great base to tour The Lakes. The owners also were very helpful in providing information before and during our stay.

Beautiful cottage, excellent location.
Beautiful cottage, excellent location. Views from the majority of the windows are of the river as the cottage name suggests, which was amazing! Such a stunning view any time of day and in all weathers. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone. The hosts were fantastic, they had thought of everything you might need and more, they were incredibly welcoming and on hand if ever needed. The house decor was really stylish yet homely at the same time. You can walk into Kendal within minutes and you are surrounded by a plethora of places to eat out. We are a family of 5 but 6 can easily fit into the cottage. Would work for families or couples. This property is new to the market, they deserve to be fully booked all year round in my opinion, get booking you won't regret it!
