"The hotel stay was good, but at the lower end of good. The gentleman who checked us in presented as very indifferent. Within 30 min of checking in we noticed that bathroom sink/face basin was not draining. Complained about it to the same person who checked us in, he assured us that he will get maintenance to fix it and after 3 hrs or so it was not fixed. "Stayed 4 nights, Staff happy and polite. Food was basic, cooked but not prepared on site. The ice cream was worth having with every meal, which I did. No air conditioning. The airplane noise was not that intrusive. The pool was cleaned every day. The shower ran hot and cold when it felt like it. Overall good value for money. Would not want to stay there long term. Would I stay there next time I was in Johannesburg, I definitely would."

"I wasted 1hour 20 minutes at the airport upon arrival from Nairobi because guesthouse didn’t send driver to pick me up. We had full agreement to meet me with name picket. With the help of airport information desk, guesthouse was called and sent driver. It took another hour. Check in employee asked 150 R for the pick up which is 50 R higher than showed in their policy. Very poor business. No soul !"
