"If you love an amazing view then this is the place that you want to stay. You could spend hours just watching the changing view during the day. We had a wallaby and her joey feed around the cabin which was lovely. Easy walk to the beach to enjoy either the beautiful beach or to enjoy some fishing. The bed was comfy but the couches could do with an update. We were lucky enough to not have anyone else in the other cabin as there is not enough separation or privacy if there was someone else...

"This property is gorgeous. A very private setting with beautiful views of river and bush and we had stunning sunsets to enjoy. The two kyaks were such a bonus as the river was glassy for 2 days while we there. The pool table was fun too even though in need of repair and levelling. A superb spot to go."

Fantastic location just across from the jetty/bay, and we loved the isolation and waking up to the sounds of the bay. Owner was a delight to work with in terms of check in times. "Unfortunately our stay was cut short by bushfire but the day and a half we spent there was nice. It is a great location to explore flinders Chase National park which is magnificent and nearby Hanson Beach is stunning. The retreat even has some small nature walks around the property that we saw some great birdlife on (they have their own bird blind so bring your camera). The bbq area is great and we enjoyed some home cooked steaks so don't be afraid to ask the restaurant to borrow what you need -...
