We had a really nice family time. The great room is so perfect for gift opening on christmas morning. Everything felt warm and cozy. Very quiet place, nice views. Exactly what we wanted and expected from the pictures. Thank you! :)
This rustic cabin was spacious clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the lake access and fishing was awesome. The hosts were responsive and quick to respond. We had a wonderful time.
Our family just loved our stay at Camp Pocomoonshine!! We had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway. We loved paddleboarding, kayaking and fishing and our evenings in the hot tub was the perfect end to each relaxing day.
I stayed at Robin’s home for a long weekend away with friends and two dogs and it was great! It’s a charming little house right across from the lake with a hot tub and fire pit that we greatly enjoyed!
Picturesque cabin far off the beaten path. Be prepared to drive 20 minutes to town/convenience. A great place to stay if you're specifically looking to visit the ausable chasm.
We had a spectacular time at the cabin. Perhaps due to the time of year, we had the lake to ourselves and enjoyed the amazing views and swimming. The hot tub and stars at night were wonderful. Robin was very communicative and the cabin was cozy and welcoming.
Enjoyed a wonderful two night stay in this peaceful cabin. Had fun fishing off the dock and cooking in the kitchen. We had everything we needed for an easy getaway.
Perfect cabin by beautiful lake. Hosts were wonderful- they put the dock out for us so we could see the eclipse. The only negative is that they are across a road from the water.
Centrally located to all outdoor activities and towns we wanted to visit. Even though it rain quite a bit, it didn't put a damper on our trip. We just scheduled around the weather.
This was the perfect get away. The view from the dock alone was breathtaking.
Super easy to find, it looks even better than the pictures. Such a cozy, welcoming cabin. Did not disappoint. The book with what to do near there was super helpful. 10/10 would recommend coming here.
What a wonderful spot to stay the weekend. The cabin is such a nice and cozy place to stay where you feel home as soon as you walk in. It’s in a beautiful spot next to the lake.
Robin communicates super fast and clear and knows to anwser all your questions.
We have made many great memories during iur stay and are can’t wait to come back in summer!
This cabin is a lakeside property nestled in the woods! It has all you need for a cozy stay!! Near Ausable Chasm with great views and hiking trails! Also near wineries! Wood burning Fireplace and a Hot Tub completed our relaxing stay! Our host Robin Lyle was so helpful with some questions we had!! Would definitely stay again! Even our Dog “Bear” was happy hanging out in the screened porch and checking out the local dog neighbors!

What can be said?
Host was awesome and accommodating.
We stopped at a grocery store before arriving at the cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. We lounged in the robes provided. Cooked dinner. Drank wine by the fire. Sat in the jacuzzi until we were prunes. Went out on the lake in the canoe (PS - best reception is out in the middle of the lake). We ventured around as well. Ausable Chasm is a must and we had lunch at Twisted Carrot which was recommended by host and it did not disappoint.
We hope to go back!
If I could give a thousand stars, I surely would. The pictures do not do it justice. We love to spend our days adventuring and use these stays as someplace to lay our heads, but I enjoyed being here as much as I did exploring the Adirondacks. The cottage was every thing I could hope for in a place in the mountains. It is clean, has a chic rustic cabin feel with all the modern conveniences, and oh so cozy. The beds were comfortable and. the kitchen all you need. I loved sitting in the front porch room in the morning and under the string lights at night. Reading outside while looking at the lake, listening to the birds, and breathing in the incredible forest spell was perfect. And we enjoyed the hot tub both as a way to start to end our days. My only regret is that we did not book it for more nights. Out of all the places we have stayed both domestic and international…this one will always be my favorite. I love Pocomoonshine Camp.
This property was true to the photos and description. My husband, our two adult children, and I had our best vacation ever right here. Aside from a neighbor's garage construction noise it was our most serene week. In addition to the countless Adirondack assets we enjoyed exquisite peace and quiet; the front porch for morning coffee, conversation, and reading; two ceiling fans in the living room with comfy chairs and bluetooth speaker; cooking meals together in the roomy kitchen; pizza delivery (which is not a given!) and The Old Orchard takeout; walks on the road (bug/tick spray required!) and yoga at the top-notch Pinnacle Yoga studio nearby; the dock for Tenkara fishing, swims, quiet sits, and reads; and the BEST sleep of my life (open windows, pitch dark, perfectly quiet). I grew up in Plattsburgh so I know the area but have never experienced Augur Lake or stayed near Keeseville. This is a terrific and unique location that combines a sense of seclusion in nature with access to all necessities (although, as stated, there really is no cell service and the internet is slow, so just enjoy letting go). We all can't wait to do this again.
This was our second time at camp pocomoonshine for a girls trip we enjoyed the lake during the day we brought our paddle boards and cruised around the lake and evenings on the enclosed porch watching the sun go down also the record player was a hit and of course the hot tub to end the evening would definitely stay again we may try and make it an annual trip
What a perfect spot for our annual siblings trip!! The Cottage had everything we needed.. we enjoyed perfect weather for kayaking, walking, laughing around the campfire and reminiscing about our trip to the lake 50 years ago!!!
The cottage was so clean and inviting... so nice to enjoy complete relaxation... our only complaint ... the time spent there passed much too quickly!!
We loved having access to the lake and enjoyed time in the canoe. The home was perfect for our family of four. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and the games provided at the house.
Camp Pocomoonshine is a classic Adirondack lakeside retreat. We heard loons calling the minute we opened the car door! The beds are comfortable and there are lots of cozy places to read or watch TV, so everyone had some space. The place was deliciously cozy on a rainy night and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed kayaking on pristine Lake Augur, soaking in the hot tub, and hiking and tubing at nearby Ausable Chasm.
This cabin was very well equipped and has a great dock for lake access. We spent most of our time on the water. The property has a canoe, kayak, and paddle board so the kids were thrilled. Thank you for sharing this little gem. Our kids want to come back next year!
Ausable chasm was a very fun outing and we also enjoyed getting ice cream at sweet treat in Peru.
