"Absolutely fabulous experience. The staff were all so incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were immaculate and our guide on our game drives was exceptional and very knowledgeble. The food was really tasty and there were lots of choices. I would definitely recommend this venue. "

"Moldy bed sheet, dirty light switches, broken bed net. Smelly bar area. When I reported the above issues, 3 groups of staff came and decided to offer me a bottle of free beer ( wine). I don’t drink beer ( wine). Then the manager knocked my room door twice to force me to accept it. I paid $NZ 1100 per room per night. This is the worst 5 star hotel I have ever experienced."

"Massively impacted by rain floods which made main road leading to and fro the lodge near to impossible to navigate on or over. Rivulets and erosion break offs. Staff dedicated and committed, food varied and 3-meal buffet style offered plenty of choices. Accommodation naturally rustic and 'hut-like' as one would expect and seek out on a Safari tour. Electricity generally generator-powered and solar-supported. Nice rustic setting overall and strong efforts made of daily outdoor maintenance being undertaken. "
