"The gardens did need weeding but the lawn was well groomed. The house has street appeal in a country type setting in the town of Paisley, Ontario. Inside was very clean, with new flooring and paint. New Refrigerator and dishwasher and modern ceran top stove. Three bedrooms very spacious but one of the beds was very uncomfortable. "This home was comfortable and just the right size for our family. The host was helpful in providing the information we needed for our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone staying near Sable Beach or as far as Wharton or South Hampton. My only wish was that it was more family friendly and had a pack n play or high chair for babies. We plan to stay again!"

"This is a very beautiful new house. Even our 9, 7 and 4 year olds recognized that. The decorating choices were much to our taste. The location was great. Walkable to the beach but away from the hustle and bustle of the main area. The outdoor deck and fire pit were very nice. The kitchen was well stocked but being a party of 7 we would have appreciated more dishes especially plates. We bought paper plates to get us through. Overall we really enjoyed our stay."

"Our group of 7 were so happy to to be back at Highland House for another stay! Our host, David was there to welcome us and answer any questions. He gave us some tips on the pizza oven which resulted in amazing, delicious pizza our first night. The log home is beautifully decorated and cozy, all beds are very comfortable and the property, inside and out, was clean and well maintained. What an amazing property to reconnect with great friends over delicious food, good wine and lots of laughter!...
