"We stayed here a few nights during Hilo side of the trip. Really great property that felt secluded but still close to food and grocery options. The property owners were very friendly and helpful with local recommendations for us. We would stay here again."

This is the best way to see the big island. Skip the resorts and helicopter rides, rent a car, and just drive till you see something you want to visit. Plenty of things to see and do to fill a week+. Will be going back; hopefully soon.
