"Hotels.com website description shows the room booked is an air-conditioned room. The hotel staff informed me that the booked room has no AC. They gave me a room on the third floor, the room was hot @94 degree. The fan did not help. I asked them to give an AC room and I agreed to pay the difference. They insisted that I should make a new reservation with full payment with no credit for prior booking. I had to move to a new hotel after spending 4 sleepless nights at the hotel. I spoke with two reps of Hotel.com and they agreed to get back to me within 72 hours but never heard back from them. I will sent the details of my experience with Hotels.com to BBB. Customers beware. "

"This was my favorite hotel that I stayed in while in Kerala. The service was top notch - the staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and memorable! The property sits right on the water. The rooms are spacious. The food was wonderful. They helped me coordinate a canoe ride through the backwaters. In order to get to the property in this prime location, the car ride is on a small dirt road at the end."
