"Access to the resort from Thailand is quite difficult. Clearing immigration on Thai and Myanmar sides were lengthy procedures. The crossing from Ranong to Kawthung requires 4 control checks before reaching destination. For old people getting in and out of longtail boats can be quite arduous. "We were fewer than 20 guests in the whole island (full capacity would be ~50): amazing! Management was very flexible and nice (they treated us with a boat tour around the island on Christmas day, free for everybody). There was some lack of coordination around activities, so it was never clear what was going on, or what were the options of the day (aside from the obvious scuba diving).
