"A very clean and tidy unit with great location. Walking distance from Markets and Restaurants. The only down side was the heat in the upstairs bedroom was bad even with the fan (which was too noisy to have on all night) The downstairs had heat pump, which was great, but if staying in the Summer be aware you will struggle to sleep upstairs"

"Our weekend at the holiday house was a serene escape to a beautiful location with expansive views. "Very tidy house and suitable for our needs. However, there was no tea or coffee or milk provided and we were not aware of that. Being unfamiliar with the area, we had no clue where any shops were. There was no information at the accommodation to tell us about local amenities. That would have been useful."

"We booked the yellow bach in order to be close to the Tawharanui regional park, and enjoyed the kayaks, the beach, and the proximity to Matakana for dining, crafts, and wine tasting. "

Stunning accommodation and location.

"My husband and I treated ourselves to a night at Woodhouse the night before departing New Zealand. It is only an hour and a half from Auckland airport despite being quite out of the way in amongst hilly sheep farms. Everything was wonderful...views, decor, food. The main lodge and the cabins have been beautifully decorated. Cabins are large with ample living area including a fireplace and a large bathroom with double shower and spa tub. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Customer service was excellent. My only complaint...our spa bath and gas fireplace did not work."
