"We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, clean cottage in a stunning lakeside setting with our extended family and children. The property is well-kept and definitely delivered on many aspects of the ‘luxury’ experience. We also appreciated the responsiveness of the property managers, who quickly addressed some of the issues we encountered. "Second winter break get away as a family in this beautiful cottage !!! Did not disappoint you have everything you need at the place , extremely clean !!! "Beautiful home, love the chalet style decoration with lots of space for everyone to be together comfortably. We were 8 adults celebrating a birthday, just wanting to chill out and swim, it was perfect for us. The kitchen was well appointed, love the espresso machine, the fridge with the bottle chilling drawer and the pantry loaded with condiemnts, etc. The beds were suer comfy and the stereo system with the turntable was a real plus. "The boathouse bar is the best."

"Because this property uses the same system for the 2 units the owner controls the heating and cooling system. We were in the lower apartment and were freezing cold. As seniors we feel the cold and therefore would not have rented this property had we known. It may be fine for younger people but my husband found it so cold he couldn't sleep and we cut our stay short rather than endure the very uncomfortable temperatures. "This is what VRBO is supposed to be in my mind. A nice room with a private bath and a place for our dog for a good price. And that is exactly what we got. So pleased and we’ll be back the next time we are in Peterborough!!!"

"The cottage has a great layout for a smallish family gathering and has a great outdoor space. The waterfront is at a quiet and beautiful part of the lake with lots of wildlife and was really nice at sunset and sunrise. "

"It was a good property. The main floor was very good, however the bedrooms did not have much ventilation especially the one on the main floor "

"This well appointed, comfortable and clean location was ideal for our 11 person, multi-generational family reunion. Everything was as advertised and interactions with Warren and Ron were friendly and efficient. Only caveat would be that stairs inside and out are steep, so might not be the best for people with mobility limitations."

"Such an amazing week. Thanks to Tanya, our attentive and helpful host, my two kids (and our lab!) and I enjoyed our time. The cottage is well appointed, clean, pet friendly, with rooms accommodate everyone and a gorgeous outdoor space. We took a polar bear swim (late october!) and we're all looking forward to enjoying the cottage and lake next summer. No question, this will be our go to cottage in the Kawartha's. Thanks, Tanya!"
