"The house had a fantastic sea view from almost every angle of the house and garden. The BBQ area was its own little resort with a sink and prep area as well as a jacuzzi , hammock and beautiful garden. All doors and windows had fully fitted insect nets and the AC was excellent. Walk to the beach was 10 min. Kitchen was very well equipped and super clean, all needed household items and cleaning products available in the small pantry. "Our holiday in the Villa met all our high expectations. The Villa has superb accommodation and outside areas and facilities. The Management Company looked after a couple of issues which arose, including loss of hot water, very quickly. Makry Gialos is a fantastic and authentic resort, away from the tourist hot spots. "Just back from a wonderful 10 days at Elounda Eleon Villas. Maria and Ilias are great hosts and Zetta a fantastic housekeeper who kept our villa spotlessly clean. Loved the location of our villa which had spectacular views to the sea. The pool was a welcome relief to the hot sun. The owners are lovely and make sure you have everything you need. "We were met by the owner on arrival & briefly showed around, we didn’t arrive until 1am so I’m not sure if he was tired but he was not very welcoming. The only welcome pack was 2 bottles of water, there was wine there but he advised this was €12 a bottle. He also advised that the gas to the cooker was turned off, so on a stove there were two rings for 10 people, which would never be enough.
