"We stayed here over Christmas and New Years for 16 days with our two sons aged 24 and 18. This is an authentic village house that has been renovated but has not lost its charm. "We had a wonderful stay in this charming house located close to the beach. The house was spotless and well stocked with all the amenities. The view from the balcony over an olive grove to the sea was great - we particularly enjoyed all our breakfasts, lunches and dinners there. Also, the host, Nikolaos Kopanakis, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. To sum up, the location is really perfect for spending a most relaxed and delightful time on the south side of Crete."

"Very nice villa with everything that you need for a relaxing holiday. The village is quite but the locals are very friendly. The information about the villa and directions from the owner where helpful and nothing was a problem. You would need a car for access to the villa and to explore the island. "A truly wonderful little house, very well appointed with bedding and towels. It's even somewhat of a tourist attraction due to the magnificent Bougainvillea. Just right for two people. Turn left out of the front door and you have 6 tavernas, 4 bars, a super bay to swim in and a well stocked little supermarket. The whole atmosphere is very tranquil and relaxed. Finally Androniki, the owner is fabulous and very attetive."

"Wi-Fi was down the entire time we were there. Not a huge deal but this was never disclosed to us until we asked. Seems like some information we could have be told up front. Bathroom was definitely not cleaned before our arrival. House is overall tired and needs some basic attention. Lots of lights that don’t work, shower was pretty dirty. Definitely more “rustic” than “traditional” The property is beautiful and we did enjoy our stay, just wish it was cleaner. "

"Property seems very kid friendly, which is nice, but as we did not bring our children this trip, it was loud and overwhelming with kids running all over. Often difficult to get spots at the pool as well. We almost decided to go next door to the Nana Princess instead. Food was pretty good. Facilities have plumbing issues given the smells in the bathroom. Was not pleasant. Good value but not luxury. Live and learn"

"We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday at Koutouloufari Village Holiday Club. The apartment was fantastic, the pool area was lovely and quiet and the location was amazing - there are so many great restaurants all within walking distance. Staff were attentive, friendly and couldn’t do more for you, the whole place completely exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was great, I’d recommend including this on booking as it’s expensive to pay daily. Can’t wait to come back, thank you!"
