"This is a lovely traditional country house surrounded by its own grounds but with other properties nearby. It is beautifully quiet (apart from cicadas) and very relaxing. The children loved the pool, which is set in its own gated area; the only downside being there is no shade near it except very early morning and late afternoon. We all immediately felt at home. "Casa Palmi was very comfortable and well equipped. The check in was smooth and owners very welcoming. The swimming pool was great. The only downside was the area, which was interesting! The sea was very near but not condusive to swimming as it was quite run down and dirty souroundings. "Villa is architecturally beautiful. Didn’t need to use the air conditioning. View was amazing and outdoor areas lovely. Only downfall was the pool, we tended to call it the paddling trough. Small and shallow, not pleasing at all. Previous tenants had broken the lock on one of the sliding doors. Never replaced while we were there so had to lock valuables in the bedroom every time we went out."
