Ideal for couples, seniors, less so for families with children. The beds were quite hard. The in-room food service was very good, as was the breakfast buffet. "This was a very memorable place that I visited. It is in the rural area of japan, you can really feel the realness of the area. It's in gifu however it's definitely not a tourist trap area. The owners of the establishment reminded me of my grandmother. You are not getting a hotle with this stay more of a B&B, it definitely felt like I a was sleeping over a japanese grandma's house. They also gave grate advice on a nice local restaurant at the bottom of a locals Mt that you can hike after to see...

"The hotel was a perfect Japanese style accommodation. The hotel staff did not speak a lot of English, but we were able to make it through. The building was clean and well kept. Very few amenities and has a shared shower room. Overall a good experience."
