"It is a bit old and worn-down, with lots of historic ambiance. The bed was very comfortable. Having more furniture to put our stuff on would have been nice. The breakfast buffet was five-star; I could easily see people staying there for breakfast alone. Perfect gravlax, many coldcuts, cheese, cereals, a great selection of bread, and one morning, there was even a specially baked chocolate cake!"

"We’ve stayed here several times, location is lovely on the waterfront. Nice staff. The breakfast is wonderful and plentiful, the bar is nice, especially summertime. The rooms themselves are basic, pillows very flat, very thin towels, a very small glass for water. Absolutely nothing extra, nor even cosy, but comfortable enough to sleep. We’ve always had a water view, which is lovely. Our family lives walking distance from hotel, so it’s the location for us. "

"There is abit of hiccup in the check in as nobody answer the door bell at the gate and it's very windy & cold at that time. Cleanliness and accessibility of the hotel is excellent. "

"It was great! The location was perfect and the food was top notch. The only issue was that the rooom was quite small, but it was very fresh. It took a long time for hot water to come out of the shower too, but otherwise it was good."

"Great location, can walk to so many things. My only suggestion is if you book ask about booking parking there. They also have a sister hotel called the Conrad. Love how they got their name too. "
