"The Esplanade is truly a 5 star hotel! From the attentive staff to the excellent food, the property is really exceptional. We booked 3 nights as part of a trip to the Istrian Peninsula and enjoyed the hotel so much that we booked an additional night when we returned to Zagreb to get our flight home. The place has an Old World feel that isn't stuffy at all. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel was happy to exchange the feather pillows for foam at our request. The Esplanade was an incredible bargain. We got more than what we paid for."

"Great location- room was super spacious- it felt good . I was not offered the silver reward member - which was supposed to include free parking and spa service for two. I was asked to pay for parking but then when I told about the Expedia offer I did not have to pay. But the lady did not offer the spa service "

"The Hotel rightly located. It is a 3 minutes walk to the bus stop to board the Tram to the City Centre, which is approximately 10-15 minutes ride, depends on Stops. The rooms are big and well decorated. The breakfast scramble egg was tasty and we enjoyed the Cappuccino. There were other selections of breakfast drinks. For a 4-Star Hotel, the Group should provide Kettle, tea/coffee and biscuits in rooms for guests. "
