"We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Log house! We were surprised it managed to sleep all 12 of us in the whare. The views were amazing, the nature, cows and sheep you could see from the balcony. Host had provided us with heaps of towels, extra blankets and an extra couch for my big family. Would suggest taking a car good for gravel and stone roads as it's like that all the way to the house but it's soo worth it! Communication with the host has made this trip so much easier! would go again. "

"What a lovely place. Right on the most gorgeous beach. Unfortunately we were there in a storm but were cosy, cosy, cosy inside the beautifully appointed and decorated unit. Was such a gorgeous property - would have loved to have stayed longer. Very handy having kitchen facilities. So stylishly decorated."

Gorgeous Views

"For our first trip to the Far North with our Aussie friends, having water views and a great location were key factors in selecting where to stay. As soon as we arrived, we knew we'd made the right decision. The bach has a charm of its own with its mismatched crockery, glasses, and comfortable couches, and reminded me of childhood summers spent in New Zealand. There's no need to turn on TV when you can simply sit on the deck and enjoy the scenery. The only downside was the BBQ, which we didn’t use as had seen better days. The bach is private and located between two beaches, one is perfect for swimming and surf casting and the other for launching your boat. James provides a document full of helpful details for your stay on the Peninsula. We loved our time there and plan to return. Did I mention the view? It is gorgeous."

"Very easy, well priced well equipped accomodation with so much room and an impressive view over Doubtless BayA great secure base for fishing and beach activities Owner Nigel very easy to deal with and allowed our small dog to stay too"
