"The location is wonderful with game regularly visiting the river from the Kruger opposite. When we arrived, about a dozen elephant were wading across and hippo were wallowing. The rooms each have their own private terraces where fires are lit each night, and open up into a lovely common area where birds and the 3 incumbent nyala are encouraged. Meals are served on your terrace, ask if you want tea or coffee delivered with breakfast rather than make your own from the room tray. Rooms are...

"Overall a very average stay and really not worth the cost. Our room was in desperate need of maintenance. There was terrible dampness and damage to the bathroom cupboards, all the cupboards in the room had not been cleaned which was v unpleasant and the aircon also had issues. Also we were told that breakfast was served at 8am however we were only managing to get breakfast at around 8.40 as staff had not arrived yet and the restaurant wasnt even open yet. We ended up missing our quad biking...
