"Oyster Bay Lodge was a great stop on our Garden Route adventure. The road going in from Port Elizabeth was a bit sketchy, but it added to the allure of the hidden gem of Oyster Bay. Wonderful food and dining atmosphere, great walks in the woods, and a private, beautiful white beach. Great pool also. Two nights was not enough!"

"Very warm welcome and nice huts In a really wild part of South Africa. Excellent and generously portioned food. Only downside is the drive to get there; the property is a good hour of dirt track off the main road and the drive is hairy. It should be only recommended for people work a utility or 4wd. "

"Nice facility, although it may s quite old, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. There is a wood stove which they provided wood for and it warmed the place up quite nicely. The kitchen could be better stocked if you were to stay there for a few days but it has the basics. I would stay again if in the area."

"We had excellent help and advice from Lisette prior to and during our stay in this beautiful house right on the beach in spendid isolation from the worries of the world. The views were amazing and it was great to walk along the stunning beach and coastal walks and hardly see a soul apart from the wildlife. It was very windy all week but there are places around the property to find shelter, including in the dunes. If you want to get away from it all but enjoy a comfortable and well appointed...
