"Excellent place to stay in Aoraki Mt Cook Nat'l Park with beautiful views and plenty of amenities. We appreciated the on site laundry, lounge areas, and the sauna! Dining options are limited in the park (~3 restaurants). Even though they're all good, you may want to plan ahead and bring groceries to take advantage of the communal kitchen area at the hostel. Helpful and friendly staff keep everything clean and tidy. We loved our experience here!"

"Beds were comfortable, quiet at night. We had workmen making building noise (banging, drilling) outside our room for both afternoons, which was really annoying and hopeless given the cost of the room. Overall, clean and well run, weird having to put our sheets out with the room cost!"

"The place is reasonably priced. Bed was comfortable, room was generally clean but fairly rundown. The manager is a very pleasant knowledgeable man who is ver welcoming and vested in giving guests valuable information about hiking, points of interest etc., the shared kitchen facilities were well-equipped and provided everything you would need to prepare a meal. "

"This excellent property is very walkable to the amenities of the town. Great open floor plan of living room, eating area, and kitchen. Comfortable beds and lovely view of the glacier. There was an initial emergency with the cleaners before we arrived. The owner resolved it promptly and communicated the matter to us. After that though, the owner did not respond to our communications/questions."
