"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. "Set in a rural village location, this spacious villa was just right for us. The furnishings and equipment are not new but they all work and are not shabby. We felt at home and spent most of our two weeks in and around the villa. Richard, the owners agent, introduced himself and he was really helpful and friendly.. We would be happy to stay here again. Great base for exploring surroundings villages etc but lovely and secluded area to come back to. "This villa was perfect for our family of 5. The main level has a nice kitchen, living and dining room with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. Perfect for my adult children to stay and to cook meals. The 2nd floor has a nice bedroom and bathroom and smaller kitchen and sitting area. Really nice to give me and my husband our own space. Both have fantastic balconies which we spent a lot of time on. "We thought the place was charming. The location is perfect. It's on the street right behind the main street so not as crowded and situated in the middle of other shops and apartments. Be prepared for stairs though. We actually kept our suitcases on the main floor vs the bedrooms. Also, the street is not driveable after 11am. Google maps put us on the street at 10:30 pm. Yikes. But it was all good. We got free parking at the Marina the whole time."

"Mini Bella Gonia exceeded all expectations for our second trip to Crete! We loved everything about the property, it was super clean & had the sweetest finishing touches. "A beautiful property in the middle of a quiet village! After a delayed flight and late arrival they patiently guided us to Askoutsi. We did not expect to find it so spacious with everything you would need and so beautifully renovated. Even juices, sandwich supplies and fruits waiting for us. Valia was wonderful and accommodated any of our needs or questions. Her goodbye surprise of delicious mizithra sweet rolls was so thoughtful! We especially enjoyed meals and the quiet nights of stars and...

"The property was great but we had a few issues with water supply. The first time was after a thunderstorm and we had a day with no electricity or water. Then no water on 2 further occasions. This was dealt with fairly quickly. Other than that it was a great base for our family holiday and the villa was well equipped."

"My family and I enjoyed our stay at this villa with it being so spacious for both the adults and children. The children had a great time in the pool and one of my granddaughters actually learned how to swim during our stay. It is recommended that a car is hired, which we did, as there is a very steep hill down to the main road and beach area. "wer wirkliche Ruhe sucht ist in diesem Haus genau richtig ! abseits vom Trubel und doch nur 5 min. von Strand und vielen Tavernen entfernt ! die Dachterrasse lädt zum Frühstück mit Meerblick ein oder aber einfach nur inmitten von Olivenbäumen, Schafen und Ziegen zu entspannen ! wir haben es sehr genossen hier Urlaub zu machen und wir kommen sicher wieder ! "Everything is amazing in the hotel it is very suitable for families there is good service and great food, everywhere you go in the hotel the staff are very understanding and kind. The only thing is that there could be more air conditioning as in the room it is quite hot. We had a great time we recommend it to anyone"

"I recently stayed at Grecotel LUXME White Palace, and it’s safe to say the experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like VIPs—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The aesthetic of the resort is stunning—whitewashed elegance with chic, modern touches. The views of the sea are breathtaking, especially at sunset, and the number of pools (22!) means you never feel crowded. We especially loved the adults-only pool for a bit of quiet relaxation. The all-inclusive dining exceeded expectations. From themed buffets to à la carte restaurants, everything was fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend the Asian fusion spot and grabbing a crepe at the Gelateria. The cocktails? Top-notch. Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with a sea view that made mornings magical. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and little touches like daily turndown service and local treats were appreciated."

"Really enjoyed our stay here, the hotel and room was immaculate condition. Shame the pool was a bit too cold at end of October but made use of the warm indoor pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast had a great choice and staff could not have been more friendly. Highly recommend. Only downfall was our room was supposed to be full sea view but more like partial sea view from first floor as part of hotel building blocked the majority of the sea view from our balcony."
