But the host, Harris, was also very friendly and attentive, telling us how to navigate down to the beach and town. Air conditioning worked like a dream and the bed was comfy. "Perfect host, perfect location , perfect holiday get away . Stayed a week and it felt so relaxing straight away. Great base for exploring surroundings villages etc but lovely and secluded area to come back to. Beach just a short walk away , edged with lovely tavernas , very friendly staff who will even serve you on the beach as you relax on the sunbeds! (Bonus no charge for sunbed and brolly set!) Highly recommend short drive to Matala and Agia Galini ..both fantastic . Brave the drive through Tymbaki that is slightly scary but also slightly amusing , to nearby supermarket for everything you could need ..great kebabs etc that were amazing on the BBQ . Would definitely go back ."
