Perfect little studio
Great stay, amazing views, just what I needed. Perfect if you’re into ocean breezes, the sound of waves crashing, and close proximity to amenities. Really nothing bad to say. If you need recently upgraded high end appliances, AC, and numerous on site staff, this is not your jam. You will also not find that with this view and location at this price point. Clean, maintained, supplied with everything I needed, laundry available in the complex. 100% satisfied and will be back.

Older property
It is an older property with signs of ware on the paint, windows, furniture and stove. One burner did not work. Bathroom was very tiny. Small place. Porch was good. Waves were noisier than desired. Vacasa was very helpful with issues. Could not swim in the beach there. Greek restaurant nearby was great. Centrally located. No air conditioning. Economy priced. Would not stay there again.

Great location, basic ROOM
Wifi is worse than dial up, the tv is minimal And won’t play much cause it’s connected to wifi. Room is basic but pretty clean. AC works well. I stayed 10 nights. Would not recommend long stays in this room. There’s no towel service and You can’t use the washer/dryer on the property. You can pay to have a mid trip cleaning. The location is amazing. I’d recommend this unit for short stays.

Amazing Location! Easy Check-in
This is an amazing location. Just as the picture portrays, you can see the ocean from the room and the balcony looks down into a quiet, grassy area. Everything on the description is accurate. The room has everything you need to get started such as trash bags, paper products, etc. The coffee pot was missing when we got there but the host brought us one the same day that I texted her. There are beach towels to use and a broom to sweep up the sand that inevitably gets on the floor. It would be nice to have one of those microfiber dust mops to get the smaller bits of sand. The internet works but the signal is not strong. I would recommend staying here. The whole process was easy!

This property is a great location next to the beach. It is also located adjacent to shopping, restaurants, and groceries. It’s the perfect spot for any couple wanting to experience Kauai. Check in was easy, and the owner was very responsive to questions.

A quiet retreat
Val was a helpful host from booking confirmation to check out. The room is within a resort and had a nice ocean view. It was very quiet and peaceful during our stay. The resort was located within walking distance to a small town place with delicious shaved ice, delicious Thai food and deli food and cafe options. Plenty of parking space. Good bathroom and comfortable beds. Aircon was appreciated. Wifi connection was a bit slow but that would be the only thing to mention. Kitchenette was also very handy!

The property is really well taken care of and has a handful of restaurants that you can walk to. The room itself is ok, nothing special, but as good as your will get for the price. Would stay again if coming to Kauai again.

Good for what it was
Great location, close to beach. Check in and out was pretty smooth. Outdated interior but I believe that is how most of Hawaii is. Only thing I’d have liked was blackout shades, which I’m guessing were removed at some point and some fluffier pillows as the ones we had were about an inch thick.

Clean and Comfortable
This was ideal for our 1-week trip. Kapaa and Islander on the Beach is a great location. There's a lockbox that makes it easy for arrival. It's centrally located, and this property is adjacent to the beach and the Coconut Marketplace. The marketplace has many shops and restaurants and a nice market, that we used all the time. The rental is basically a hotel room, but it was very clean with comfortable beds and lots of hot water. It also had an air conditioner that worked well and was welcome on those hot and humid days. The unit was on the third floor, so you do need to climb two sets of stairs to get to it, but the advantage of being on the third floor is you had a view of the ocean from the balcony and it was very quiet (except for the roosters). The room had tile floors and a broom, so it made it easy to sweep up the sand each day. It also came fully equipped with dishes and silverware, a mini fridge and microwave, which we made use of. It had extra towels for the beach and mats you could take as well. We were very happy with the cleanliness and comfort of the unit and would definitely stay there again.

Great Location
We were happy with the location. Being on the east shore has advantages and the property is on the beach. We also liked having the market and restaurants within walking distance. The property is older and the room is like a hotel room. The manager was helpful when we reached out during our stay. The curtains do not block out light or shadows. The bathroom is decent sized. We had a great time!

Short walk to the beach
The entire property is beautifully landscaped. Unit 370 was a nice place to stay but there are no elevators so be prepared to lug your heavy items up the stairs. But, you only need to do it once when you arrive. There is an ocean view from the balcony and it is quite nice. The property is quiet at night and we found it nice to head to the pool Tiki bar for a drink after 3:00 where you could sit and chat with others visiting. We enjoyed the room and our stay. We had a small issue with our tub not draining properly and Val took care of it right away. You can’t go wrong staying here!

The space was very nice and clean. It has easy access to beaches and a nice pool and hot tub. We did not realize that it is more like a hotel room. There was a nice little kitchen area that was handy.

Wonderful Spot!
Have been visiting Kauai since 1976. The Islander was actually the first place I ever stayed with my husband. I had a very enjoyable stay. Everything was great. Just note that unit is on the 3rd floor and there are no elevators. It was hard for me to haul my luggage up the steps and one added piece at the end because I did so much darn shopping! lol! The A/C is a huge plus and works great and easy to control. I usually left the slider open all night and enjoyed the fresh air. To the cleaning person: I'm sorry I was not able to remove all my trash and recyclables before checking out. I ended up in Emergency at Wilcox the day before with an acute UTI and a kidney stone, so I was not feeling well, but I left the room as neat as possible. The location is perfect. Love Kapa'a and that it is adjacent to the Coconut Marketplace. Also, the pool and bar are an added plus, and I was able to enjoy it while there. Thank you for a nice stay.

Close to some great food and shopping
This was a nice place to stay. The beds were comfortable. It was nice there were beach towels for us to use. It is close to several areas. We walked to Lydgate Beach and also walked the other direction toward Safeway where we found lots of good food. The Coconut Market Place right outside our door also had good food choices. We rented bikes and rode the path to Donkey Beach. We didn’t rent a car since we were only here 3 days. We also spent some time at the pool which was very nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay
The room and Islander on the Beach had a great ocean front view and beach, a pool, hot tub, gas barbecue grills. HulaNow has a few places to stay, so I felt good about being able to move if needed (but never needed). The air conditioner worked but needed maintenance, and HulaNow got that fixed right away. The fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and dishes were just what we needed to have a few meals at the place. The room has two comfortable beds with plenty of blankets, pillows, and supplies. There was an on-island POC if we had any questions or needs (not needed by us). The place is next to Coconut Grove with shopping and restaurants, and near other places to shop and dine. Lots to see and do, Kapaa is a perfect central location to drive to both the North and West sides of the island. This was a great place to call home away from home.
