We loved our stay at the condo! It was clean, quiet, convenient and private. Loved our mornings on the lanai watching the ocean. Such a wonderful location! The only downside is that the carpets are a bit worn and needed a cleaning.

Great Condo
Great condo, feel lucky we found it. As advertised it is corner end unit ocean front. Very clean fully stocked unit. We appriciated the extra supplies like dishwasher and laundry tabs as well as cleaning supplies so we could keep the kitchen clean. NO bugs whatsoever, took the rubbish out each day. The comfortable bed. We were happy there was the portable AC in the bedroom and used it at night.

Perfect 1BR to Explore Kauai!
Great little condo in a great location with beautiful sunrises! Halfway between Ha'ena State Park and Waimea Canyon, it was a great spot to see both sides of the island without moving mid trip. Good restaurants in walking distance and a grocery store very close. Note the AC is only on the bedroom and the beach is not for swimming.

Great Place--Would Stay Again
First of all, Garden Isle Properties is great to work with! They were friendly, quick to respond to all my questions and I ended up installing their app which made things even better! Mahalo! This unit is great! It’s quiet, clean and very comfortable. The breezes when the windows are open are wonderful! It also had all the necessities we needed for the week. Chose it for the A/C (so it would be quiet at night)(was worried about the roosters…but ended up enjoying them and te nlise wasn't an issue after all...this place is very quiet), the washer and dryer (it was our second week of vacation) and the recliner (because my husband needs one sometimes for his neck and back issues). This place far exceeded our expectations and I sure wish I could book it again now for next year! :) They also keep the grounds impeccably well…including the grills which we used a couple of times. The fact that it was oceanfront was the icing on the cake! We enjoyed the balcony so much…between drinking our coffee, eating meals, playing games and just enjoying the ocean. The miles long walking/bike path actually starts at this location and we took several memorable walks/bike rides on it. First time in Hawaii/Kauai and this is the perfect location to explore the whole island (whether we were heading north, west or south on any particular day) which we did all week and had an absolutely fabulous time…made memories that will last a lifetime! Mahalo!!!

Property was nice. Our room was nice and a good size. Appeared clean at first but we did notice as we stayed there that some hard to reach areas had not be cleaned in quite some time. I was looking for an electrical outlet behind our bed and noticed a huge amount of dust built up behind there. Obviously had not been cleaned behind there for years. Similar dust under sofa when we pulled out the sofa bed. Other than that it was nice. It had everything we needed to cook and eat with. A nice balcony with a beautiful view of pool and ocean. It had no AC but a good breeze that helped out. One other thing to note for the location was it was good and bad. Good in that it was kind of a central location on the island. From there you could head to the north side (about 30 drive) or the south end (about 45 minute drive). There was shops close by. As far as beaches however, there were not a lot of options unless you went to either the north or southern areas of the island. Most beaches around the property including the one right at the property were rough with rocks only and not suitable for swimming. All in all a good place.

We liked this location because we wanted to be close to the airport and not too far from traveling any direction. We knew we wanted to see as much of the island as possible without having to drive 2 hours in one direction. We spent 3 days and we could go any direction in about 1.5 hours or less.

Amazing stay!
Such an amazing stay! The room was clean and had all the amenities. Very clean, amazing view. The grounds are kept beautiful. There are ice chests, beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels in the room. Washer and dryer in the room. The pool and hot tub stay open until 10 pm. It is walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The location is perfect. The beach out front is not swimmable but it’s just a quick drive in either direction to find the best beaches.

The inside of the condo was clean. The pool, spa and garden area was very clean despite much use. Several repairs were made to this unit while we were there, so it should be great for the next guests. The shower head, cable box and dishwasher were replaced during the first week of our stay after we had problems with them. It seemed that there had been problems with these previously. The washer water level limit switch failed during our 5th load of laundry later in the week, but we were there so there was limited water overflow. All of these items were repaired quickly. Sarah with Garden Island Properties was a gem to work with.

VALUE and CONVENIENCE IN PARADISE
This was a fabulous stay! My wife and I took our 20-year-old daughter to Hawaii for her first visit. We have not visited the Islands in 18 years, and this was the first time to Kauai. Previously we have always stayed in very nice and expensive golf resorts and hotels in Maui and the Big Island but now being retired we were looking to save some dollars for local activities and do most of our meals at the house to avoid overpriced Hotels, Bars and Restaurants. We could not have been more satisfied as the unit exceeded all expectations. Everything we needed from cooking, basic bathroom supplies and laundry needs was available. The unit has a very nice Big Screen TV in the living room but seriously we never turned the TV on in 7 Days. Why spoil the incredible and relaxing ocean view. Going to sleep at night with the sound of the waves crashing the shoreline was amazing. The unit is so conveniently located on the Island that we were easily able to visit all areas of Kauai from a beautiful sandy beach in Hanalei on the North side to the lower West Side and up to Waimea Canyon for hiking at the highest Point in Koke'e State Park. The unit at Kapaa Shores is also within walking distance to Safeway and other gift shops and restaurants. The store and its parking lot get quite busy around 5 PM and to avoid a crowd I started going to a Big Save Market a bit up the road. My wife and daughter enjoyed several Shaved Ice from Hee Fat General Store which a short drive in the town of Kapaa. In summary a fabulous unit and a great location. The unit does not have air conditioning and Hawaii can get a bit warm and humid. If you are like me and enjoy sleeping in a cold room under the blankets then this might not be the place for you. BUT there are plenty of fans and the ocean breeze coming through open windows and Lanai patio door was more enjoyable and relaxing then sleeping in a closed room listening to an AC run all night. By the way the Bedroom Mattress and mattress on the pull-out sofa were very comfortable. We hope to visit Kauai again and if we do we would not hesitate booking this unit again.
