HISTORY: Designed as the nation’s first suburban shopping district for the automobile, the Country Club Plaza was the vision of developer J.C. Nichols. Seeking to create a real estate development that captured the allure of Spanish marketplaces, Nichols purchased several small lots of land in a swampy and undeveloped area in 1907 and opened the Plaza’s first buildings in 1922. Originally nicknamed “Nichols’ Folly,” the Country Club Plaza’s Moorish architecture now features more than $1 million in artwork, comprised of the district’s fountains, murals and more than 30 statues.

The living room is comfortable with enough seating for the group, along with a 55" TV w/Netflix, Hulu, and high speed Fiber WIFI.
The kitchen has been fully updated with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. It is fully stocked with everything that you need to cook a gourmet meal for your family or friends. A full coffee bar awaits you in the morning with a Keurig, drip coffee maker, pour over and a French press. A variety of K-cups, creamer and sugar are included in every stay! There are plenty of amazing spots to enjoy your morning cup of joe. Sit out on the back deck and enjoy the view of the lush backyard or sit on the front deck and watch the hustle and bustle of city life.
The bathroom has a claw foot tub for soaking at the end of a long day and is large enough to accommodate more than one guest getting ready at a time. A full size washer and dryer are locating in the bathroom in case you need to do a load of laundry before traveling back home!
Both bedrooms have brand new queen size beds with multiple pillows in case you sleep with more than one :) . They are also equipped with storage for your belongings and hangers in the closets. There is also a small work space provided with plenty of light for any business needs.

This home is all one level with reserved parking right in front (enough for one vehicle).
