Pretty cheap hotel. Booked online. Thought it was strange to require a $100 deposit upon check in. Whole place smelt like mold & mildew. Had several mice run through my room during my stay, Lotta Homeless people around the area. None of the staff speaks great English. Checked out early cause I don’t fw rodents. Let the front desk know and they didn’t have much to say. They offered to move me to another room but I insisted that I was checking out and I wanted my deposit back. Get what you pay for LMAO. Wouldn’t recommend or stay here again. There was a lot of upset guests at the front desk when I checked out. Seemed like the people who run this place have been jipping a lotta people on their money.

Is says includes breakfast, breakfast was terrible, not a single fresh fruit, the stale coffee was either too concentrated or burnt, room conditions were bad, card key entrance to a side of the hotel was inactivated, so anyone could get in. Room was smashed and the whole hotel smells like cigarette. Not coming back.

Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. The room was adequate- basic and no complaints. The entire building smelled like smoke though. They have a list upon entering for costs of basic things you may have forgotten like toothbrush, razor, etc. they are reasonable. It seems like a place folks may be staying on a more long-term type basis. There was a gas station/convenience store nearby and a Waffle House but it’s in a somewhat industrial area and getting rides to and from the city across the river during peak hours - bars/shows/events can get pricey but are affordable if you plan ahead.

The property was in poor condition and appeared neglected. The bathtub in my room had several large rust spots, which was quite disappointing. As a travel agent, I could never recommend this location to my clients.

This has become our go-to stay when visiting family in Kansas City. Located in an industrial/rail yard area, it is quiet, off the beaten path, without much foot traffic. Located nearby are dining options, convenience stores, and fuel stops. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Safety is enhanced with indoor access to rooms. Bed and shower linens were clean; mattress was very comfortable. Room decor has been updated. The breakfast area was fastidiously clean, uncluttered and spacious. A warmer was kept filled with pancakes and other continental breakfast items were available as well including cold cereals and instant hot oatmeal. Our room microwave and mini-fridge were very clean and functional. The desk and housekeeping staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. We are very satisfied patrons and will definitely be staying here again in the future. Thanks so much for your efforts to provide such a pleasurable motel stay!
