The staff at Hampton Inn/Financial District were wonderful. We also appreciated the easy access to the freeway from the hotel. This location is also an easy walk to the convention center and other downtown amenities. he reason this hotel did not receive a higher rating was due to one of the elevators being out of service during our 3 day stay,

The accommodations had some minor issues, such as maintenance concerns and limited privacy in the bathrooms. However, the hotel did offer a convenient snack area and a commendable breakfast selection. The surroundings were safe and convenient for accessing downtown Kansas City. Overall, I would consider staying here again for basic accommodations and a quick breakfast, but I would recommend seeking alternative accommodation for a more upscale or extended stay experience.

The rooms and hotel were very clean! Walking distance to so much downtown. The street car is close and can take you all the way to union station! Staff was friendly and so nice! Would definitely stay here again :)
