Dojo on Oak - 2700 sq foot custom luxury space

Renovated in 2018, this 2700 sq ft stand alone building is set at the North end of the Crossroads. The space is filled with three living room spaces, high end kitchen, 2 custom bathrooms, dining room, open style bedroom upstairs(queen bed), dbl bedroom downstairs (queen & dbl bed & sofa bed) and sauna. Rooftop patio with Crossroad views.
Your booking will include the entire space to relax, entertain, play and stay! We do require a minimum two night stay and age 25 and above to book. Not an event space. 2-3 private parking spaces in back under camera and street parking available.

Rockhurst Graduation and family weekend.
The house was wonderful. Great place for the family to hangout and celebrate our Rockhurst graduate. It was unique and had everything we needed to create a memorable weekend. The pairing next door was also a surprise treat. Thank you for creating such a unique and cool space.

Weekend at the Dojo
We visited our daughters in KC with extended family this past weekend. The Dojo was a great gathering spot. We especially enjoyed sitting outside with the Big Bay door open and watching people go up and down the block. Such a cool neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and entertainment. The foosball and shuffleboard were a big hit as well. We definitely will spread the word about this awesome space!

Best place to stay in KC
The Dojo on Oak was the best place to stay in KC for a great weekend getaway! It perfectly located to allow us to walk to walk the city. The rooftop patio was an amazing spot to hang with friends in the evening and enjoy the fire pit. Emily was the perfect host and was very accommodating and available for anything we needed. This place was the most fun rental we have ever stayed in and it will definitely be our FIRST CHOICE the next time we return to KC for a weekend with friends!

Great loft for a special stay in KC!
This is not your typical VRBO. That's exactly why we loved our stay. The place is in the Crossroads District, so there are dozens of restaurants and breweries in walking distance. There are also multiple music venues just blocks away. The main floor is a giant room with a blacklight mural, a large TV, foos ball table and shuffleboard table. Behind this room is a huge bedroom that converts into a gym in the daytime. Finally, there is a gorgeous bathroom on the main floor. Upstairs is another large open space with a fullly-equipped kitchen, dining area, seating area with two large TVs, a comfy bed and a large master bath with jetted tub/shower. Off the back of the second floor is a private rooftop seating area with a firepit. This is a superb place home base for a stay in KC. We look forward to our next opportunity to stay here!

Everything was perfect. Emily was amazing. She was quick to answer all of our questions and even got us into our place early for a reasonable fee. I would recommend staying there if you want to stay downtown.

Three days in KC
I stayed at the DoJo by myself so there was obviously a lot more space and amenities than I needed but I had a blast. The property has great energy and is close enough to anything you feel like getting into. I’ll return with my sons at some point and base out of the DoJo for a game or concert.

Unique and very cool, yet still a very classy place.
This was a guys trip which included my sons (21+), couple guys my age, and my father-in-law. All ages loved the property and the location was great. I’ve been to KC several times but this was their first visit. KC has Sports, great food, nice bars, and is a clean and safe town.

Girls vacation
This was a girls vacation with my sister and our daughters. The home was very nice and was plenty of room for all of us. We could walk to many of the places we wanted to go to, and could take the tram to all the others. Would recommend this place.

Dojo Stay
We visited the Dojo to attend our friends wedding last weekend and it was absolutely beautiful! We decided we would rather all stay together instead of getting a hotel and we were so happy we made this decision. The Dojo was so fun and different. The downstairs graffiti was so different and the upstairs kitchen and bathrooms were put together with some of the best appliances. The sauna let us relax before or after our days and although we did not utilize the firepit outside, it was such a fun space! The owners were also so accommodating! They answered quickly and helped us when we accidentally set the alarms and locked ourselves inside 😂

Hanging at the Dojo
The Dojo is an amazing property. It is very unique and modern. Very, Very impressive! The location is also great. Walking distance to many entertainment places and the KC street car stop is also walking distance Next door to high end liquor store/market on one side and a very fun and modern pool hall on the other.

This is such a fun place to stay! The bathroom are phenomenal. Rain fall and waterfall showers!! Soaker tub! Yess please. The upstairs is more relaxing space the downstairs is fun with shuffle board and foosball! The graffiti walls were phenomenal!! Owners were very friendly and communicative!
