The Space:
This property consists of 3 bedrooms, with an office that doubles as a 4th bedroom with a daybed.
Clay Roof Inn has all of the amenities of home, high speed internet, and a dedicated workspace for you workers on-the-go.
Two of the bedrooms have TV's plus a large TV in the living room, all of which have complimentary Netflix.
There's also a sunporch with seating, for enjoying your morning coffee or just to get some fresh air.
Plenty of off street parking, and a large yard!
The only shared space with the downstairs unit is the driveway, however, spaces are clearly marked that are exclusive to each unit :)
Guest Access:
Entry is through the back door, and it is keyless entry. You will be generated your own personal access code the day of your check in.
Make sure to refer to your Check in instructions for specific details and other helpful info.
The Neighborhood:
This is a safe, quiet neighborhood, consisting mostly of families and older residents.
The neighbors are very friendly and supportive of our Short Term Rental. So we aim to keep good relationships with everyone!
Getting Around:
I-70 is only a couple minutes away, so you have quick, easy access to all things Kansas City. The joke in Kansas City is that everything is 20 minutes away. That rings true for this property as downtown, Worlds of Fun, the KC Zoo, and many other attractions are only a short drive from this location!

**This neighborhood is very quiet and tucked away off the highway. All neighbors have been in their houses for a very long time. For this reason, we do not allow parties or gatherings. The maximum number of guests is all that is allowed at any given time and any person sleeping must be accounted for in your booking. Quiet hours begin at 9pm. After this time all noise must be contained within the house. **
SMOKING OF ANY KIND IS STRICTLY PROHIBBITED INSIDE!!! We have locations outside and away from the entries where smoking is allowed. An automatic $150 extra cleaning fee will apply if there is any evidence of smoking inside. This includes, but not limited to ashes, butts, smell, or obvious attempts to cover up smoking.
LOCAL INSECT DISCLOSURE:
We feel very silly to have to include this in our listing, but this is one of those cases where a single incident causes a warning issued to all:
Insects, arachnids, and bugs are common in the Midwest. Some you may see include flies, mosquitos, bees or wasps, spiders, ticks, ants, and a plethora of other common creepy crawlies. Sometimes these creatures get inside through no fault of ours or yours. Please keep in mind that we do quarterly treatments on all our properties, and should one of these bugs venture inside we do not take responsibility.
Local Weather Disclosure:
We are located in Kansas City, the heart of the Midwest. Weather can be unpredictable. Storms of all kinds have been known to pop up at any time. We are not responsible for power outages, downed tree branches, or the condition of the streets during winter. (We will always shovel and salt our driveway and walkway).
