Welcome to your private first-floor unit in a beautifully restored triplex! This spacious retreat features three queen beds with luxury linens, accommodating up to 6 guests comfortably. Relax on the couch or in the inviting bedrooms.

We are only minutes from Sun Fresh and Midtown Market grocery store. 2-3 minute drive to CVS, Walgreens, and Starbucks.

This private first-floor unit is located inside of our beautifully restored triplex! This spacious unit features 3 queen beds and can accommodate up to 6 guests comfortably.

No Smoking in unit or building. (violation subject to $250 fine)

Pets are welcome for a nominal pet fee -$40 per pet. $100 per pet/per month for long term stays.
Pets must be crated while unsupervised, house trained, and are not allowed on the furniture or in the beds.

No parties or gatherings.
The number of people in the unit may not exceed the guest count on the reservation unless special permission has been granted. This extends to the building amenities as well.

Just what our family needed
We came to this property from 3 distant locations for a one night family reunion to cheer our daughter on to Graduate school. The property was clean, comfortable, and just what we needed. Nice location, i hope to be back some time soon to explore the city, and will see if this property is available.

Big XII Tournament
This property was perfect for us to use as home base for the 2024 Big XII tournament. Although our team, KU, lost on the first night, we used the opportunity to hang out, visit and explore the surrounding neighborhoods. Lots to see and do within blocks of this rental! Lots of seating to watch games on TV and plenty of sleeping space. Beds were comfortable and space was great.

Very nice! Three bedroom in an older neighborhood in Kansas City with a lot of charm. Updated but still has the original woodwork. The staff working with me through VRBO was always attentive and always responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was as described/portrayed in the pictures..however this place needs a deep clean. I was very disappointed to find cobwebs everywhere, smudges/fingerprints on several surfaces, as well as a MASSIVE amount of fruit flies. It was pretty off putting. As a professional housekeeper myself who cleans several short term rentals, I know what the standard should be. The property really is beautiful, but we were so disappointed in the cleanliness. Check in/out was simple, no issues there.

Parking is to rear of house. Back door would not open. Because the front door is an inconvenient option to use we chose to pass luggage through a rear window. A promise from the property manager to return a call regarding this issue did not happen.

Nice house, clean. There were several packages sitting outside of our door and didn’t realize it was in a multiplex. 20 or more packages of water were delivered right in front of the house. We were told someone was preparing for doomsday lol. One of the beds and frame was very flimsy and squeaky and the door wouldn’t close to the room. Other than that, it was nice and spacious. Everything we needed was available. Nice and close to our venue.

One Night Only
This was our first time booking through VRBO. 2 hours before check in we were asked to go to another property, no big deal as we could check in earlier than 3pm so we were happy to oblige. My fiance and I were under the impression that it was a very petite 2 bedroom house we’d have all to ourselves, however the house was actually 2 units. Didn't really love that as we wanted privacy for our little get away and could hear every step of the person above us. The host did walk in on us once and that was a bit uncomfortable. Neighborhood was slightly run down but quiet and close to a lot of things to do and near lots of good food. Overall the stay was pretty good.

Excellent location
The location of the house is PERFECT! We went to a Royals game, the zoo and ate some great food. All the places we went to were not far and we were centrally located for our major activities. The house is called historic for a reason, has unique character and all the things expected with an old has that has hard wood floors. You’ll head the upstairs neighbors due to the wood but not anything loud out of the ordinary. The house has been updated on the inside and looks well kept. Only knocks I could give would be one toilet was awful with flushing and took several tries to get toilet paper to go down. There was also a homeless man smoking in his make shift shelter at the back of the property parking area but he was gone the next morning. Overall, good stay and we enjoyed our short time in Kansas City.

The description of the beds available at the property is misleading. The listing stated 4 queen beds, and there were only 3. There was no mention of access to a basement, and there was no way to lock the door leading to it. There was an extra door with outside access that was not mentioned. All outside doors have only electronic locks- no deadbolts. There was trash in the kitchen garbage when we arrived. The beds had an odd smell, like the sheets hadn’t been changed. Overall, it works for one night. If you have a longer stay, I would recommend going somewhere more comfortable and secure.

Quiet inside even being so close to a hospital. Loved the old wood floors and decor. Beds were comfortable and allowed all of us to get a good nights sleep. Perfect stay for our overnight stay. Easy check in and check out and exactly what was described. Would stay here again.

Nice quite neighborhood, host fast to respond. We loved the charm of this old house. Everything on one level helped make access easy for our 97-year-old mother. All 3 beds have memory foam mattresses so, everyone slept well. House book of instructions and area "To Do" recommendations came in very handy. We would definitely stay again.

Great Location
The home is in a walkable neighborhood. We had some minor issues that were rectified promptly. However, I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of attention to cleaning and ensuring things are operational. For example, all of the lamps in the living room were unplugged, and I had to move the big sectional to access the outlet on the floor. I think 35 short-term rentals might be too much for one crew to handle.

Beautiful Cozy Home Downtown
We were thoroughly impressed with this beautiful classic home. The layout is a little different due to the age of the house however for a 1 night stay it was perfect. The decor was gorgeous, the neighborhood felt safe, plenty of parking, and close to a lot of great restaurants and activity.
