"The staff, including the restaurant are excellent. I can't say enough of the warm hospitality that was offered me throughout my 2 week stay. The hotel is well situated to lively nightime food options, walking along the waterfront, and close to town. The hotel is a little tired, but it also had its charm. Do yourself a favour and book one of the rooms facing the water - evenings on the patio taking in the ambiance are well worth the few extra $$ (versus a room with no balcony). Will definately go back to the Emerald. Thanks to the staff - wonderful!"

"Very kind and caring staff, who really go over a beyond for their customers. Safe site fully fenced/gated and staff live on site and are happy to support you no matter the day/night. House keeping, room service, air conditioning, laundry service, beautiful free breakfast they also provide dinner meals on request. Room very tidy and clean with sliding door.
