"Location - there is a pick up service from jr nakuro onsen station. You need to notify the hotel in advance for the pick up service. Staff- they are very nice. I got off at the wrong jr station. The next train will be an hour later but the hotel staff was already at the station waiting for me. I was very lucky to get some assistance from a local gentleman. He called the hotel and the hotel staff drive to my station and picked me up. I also asked the reception about the transport to naruko...

"Excellent location right beside Morioka station. The staff was very good and the breakfast was good. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was that I don't really like the machine-check in they've switched to. There are Front Desk staff standing right there watching me check in on the machine--it's very impersonal and probably a little less efficient because I didn't know the process clearly. Perhaps it'll be a little smoother in the future, but overall, seems like the machine-based check-in /...

"I missed checking in because I did not catch the shinkansen. Nevertheless, when I called to try to cancel, the lady at the other end of the line was extremely helpful and did her best to provide the best service. Although cancellation was not possible because it was done through Expedia (who by the way was not responsive at all), they offered to accommodate us the next morning to eat breakfast and stay in the room until checkout time st 11AM."
