"The hotel is quite a long distance from Bangkok, but for a couple of nights it is worth a visit (and the 2-3 hour drive across from Bangkok). The setting on the river is beautiful. We have one of the rooms with the kayaks, and these are easily accessible/ readily available. The only drawbacks were that there really is nothing to do in the local area, and to get into the town centre the only option is to use the hotel's taxi service (no other local services or Grab options available). "We stayed in the Deluxe River View room, the best room in the hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The only fault we could find with the room was lack of storage. The 2 pools were lovely, they were quiet during the day when people were out on day trips. Staff were great. We give a special mention to the reception staff who advised us where to go for day trips which they easily arranged for us. "Nice accomodation facing the river. The furnishing is dated but the bedding pillows are decent. As the room faces the river, the other side of the river has live band so it is not suitable for people who are light sleepers (do bring ear plugs). Staff are friendly and the place is clean."

"This was such a unique stay on our trip to Thailand. The trip down the River Kwai to get to the floatel was peaceful, and turning the river bend to see the floating rafts was a beautiful view. "Lovely place. The site is spectacular. The staff is friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit. The only downside is that the resort is a four hour plus drive from Bangkok. They say it’s two hours but it’s four hours. Also the food is not great. It’s still a great place."

"Im so glad we booked this place. I booked 2 river raft rooms for our family, 2 adults and 2 children. The rooms are a great size, drinks fridge has very reasonable charges (65 baht beer, 20-30 baht soft, 20 baht crisps etc). Room service was 20 baht for extra drinks if you run out, so really cant complain. The setting is just great, lovely greenery, sound of the river, wildlife, swimming pool built into the river (the kids loved this) and lots of seating areas! Food was fine, breakfast is basic...
