It was fine except for.........
Except for the little salamander running around the room and the salamander droppings on the window shelf! Since I was raised on a farm, I was able to tolerate them being part or the ambience. The room had a musty odor and there was dust on the floor which bothered my wife but didn't bother me.
Hotel is situated near the centre of downtown. This is a nice budget hotel, the staff is friendly expected from 2 stars hotel. The room is clean and small just enough for a good rest. There are plenty of car parks. I like the way they layout the parking area and rooms. Recommended for business or budget travel.

Simple but does the job.
I had stayed with Hop in before in Krabi and was more than happy with the stay so we were more than happy to use them again. A simple hotel that does the job. Rooms are clean and a good size. The bed is really soft and comfortable, an unusual find in Asia. The hotel itself is located about 4km away from the main tourist area on a busy main road. The hotel were able to help us arrange a scooter to make getting around easier. Overall a nice hotel and a good price for a couple of days stay.

Great hotel, cheap no facilities. Very clean. Problem was the location it's in right smack middle of nowhere, you gotta drive to go about the tourist spots
Arrived at 1pm and told to come back later, bit annoying.. The room was fairly new and the bed was nice and soft, although throughout the night there was a constant whining from a waterpump or something, again annoying.
The hotel was exceptionally clean and for its affordable price, it was comfortable and worth revisiting. However, it might be a little out of the way for guests without access to a car as it is a little isolated.
Comfortable bed (and bedsheets), free hot drinks via dispenser - Mocca, Hot Chocolate, Espresso (before 11am), clean and cosy room, wifi relatively good. It provides liquid body soap and shampoo via dispensers (mentioning it because some budget accommodations don't and it identifies itself as a budget hotel).
But sink/toilet bowl area next to shower area has no drainage, so if the sink area's floor is wet, the only way the water can drain is through the shower area (so you have to try not to wet the sink area if not it gets hard to walk),but I'm sure you can ask for room cleaning assistance. Also, my observation is the bin has no bin liners (more of a trouble for the cleaning department if there are wet waste than for users).
From Bankok airport, it's about 2 hours+ drive to this hotel, longer if there's traffic jams. So if you do not have arranged transport, will be hard getting here. Its a 6 story hotel and the walls are thin, so you can hear people walking outside the corridor easily and annoyingly. Strangely during the nights, the dogs barking were extremely loud. I didn't see any pets in the hotel but the barkings were so loud, I bet a some of stayers had dogs in their rooms. It definitely disrupted my sleep on more than 3 occasions during the nights. I had read one other hotel review here which also stated same so it is definitely an issue.
Rooms are rather bare, no cabinets/wardrobe to store your clothings. No safe box either. Rooms were basic but clean. Parking lots aplenty and felt safe parking here. There's this good security guard looking after the hotel and the parking area too. No food served here and for your morning coffee, the coffee machine is located at the reception area, near the toilet. Also one day we returned to find that we were locked out of our rooms. Had to go 6 floors down to the reception to have the 2 rooms unlocked and inform the staff but the staff didn't understand English. After the staff gave the nod. I went back up 6 floors only to find out only 1 room was unlocked but the other rooms was still locked. So yup, another trip down and up 6 floors (They have elevators). We had our meals at Robinsons Mall, which was just 2 mins drive away or 20 mins walk.
It's remote but that's OK if you just want an overnight stay. Chose the odd Expedia option of not paying upfront and they said Expedia's price is just "an ad" and the real price is xxx baht. I thought it would be fun to eat some freeze dried noodles for the first time in 10 years and I scalded myself trying to carry them and my bags. The staff could not care less. Had to almost beg for paper towels to clean their floor and they made no effort to offer me first aid or express concern. The key didn't work after I used it once and they said I could have someone from the front desk let me in any time I wanted to leave and re-enter my room. Ants everywhere, sub-par construction. No idea of the concept of hospitality.
This hotel is a good choice for budget travellers. Our room was small but clean and efficient. It also had free Wi-Fi internet access which was great. Coffee is available for free at the lobby from 6 AM to 11 AM. The only downside of this hotel is the location, it's quite far from the city area. There was no shop or restaurant open on site. I wouldn't recommend to stay here if you don't have own transport.
Good for overnight, like business hotel. Have enough facility for you with good quality of bed to comfortably sleep. And nearby area have cool coffee shop and not too far from Robinson Kanchanaburi.
