We had a fantastic stay! Absolutely Beautiful house & property with all the amenities. Gorgeous sunrises & sunsets, cliffs in the background, and a great central location to the National Parks. Owners were fantastic! Don't hesitate to book this property!

Welcome to Red Mesa Ranch! Come get away from it all! Located within a short driving distance of the National parks - Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon, and so many more amazing outdoor adventures. A peaceful retreat at the end of your days adventures.
Just 10 Minutes from town) on 5 acres surrounded by open space, and stunning views in every direction. Cozy and comfortable spaces, with a fully stocked kitchen, and many upgrades.
Wake up to fresh local coffee at sunrise on the porch, then you can gather friends & family together in the evening on the patio to grill, Lawn games, or just enjoying the sunset over the Mesa. Be sure and experience our dark skies, perfect for stargazing around the firepit by night.

There is access to hiking, ATV, and horse trails right from the property, as well as the New Tilted Mesa bike and hiking trails just a mile from the house!

We have a large parking area on site, with lots of room for you to bring your toys, and are less than a 1/4 mile from Johnson canyon recreation area with endless trails.
Equine facilities are available for your horses - A short distance to Buckskin Gulch slot canyon, Bryce Canyon, and the Kaibab National forest, Near the Grand Canyon.

We do have a welcoming committee...Our 2 dogs will bark, but are both friendly and like to play. You are welcome to visit the horses and goats as well.

There are outside security cameras on the property at the entrances, and the driveway.

Fabulous family vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Julie & Jim’s. Their home is meticulously appointed and spotless. The beds were comfortable and the pantry/bathrooms were flush with all that we needed. We loved having the horses, dogs and goats to visit with. Highly recommend when in the area. Thank you for helping to make our vacation fabulous!!

Perfect location for national parks!!
We had the most incredible vacation! Julie and Jim were extremely accommodating! My kids absolutely loved the animals on the property! We spent multiple days hiking in Zion and Bryce. We also visited the north rim of the Grand Canyon, Horse Shoe bend, kayaked on Lake Powell and saw the Coral Pink Sand Dunes. The location of this property was perfect to acess all of these natural, beautiful areas!

This property is clean, well-maintained and has a stunning view. The owners provided personal touches like snacks and suggestions of things to do in the area. The horses, goats, and dogs were also fun to interact with and were an added bonus. I would definitely stay at this property again!

Amazing place to stay
We were 2 families with 4 kids, aged 10-16, and this place was amazing. Everyone had their own space and it was the perfect home base for exploring the area. It had everything we needed for stay. The hosts were very friendly and keep the place well stocked! Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Our stay was SPECTACULAR!!!
This stay feels like your home not landing somewhere temporary. Hosts are very sweet, the home is very clean, beautifully themed decorations, and a great location right in the middle of all the national parks. Also, great things to sight see and hike in Kanab. We can’t say enough how nice it was and how much we thoroughly enjoyed this house. Your stay can make or break your experience of vacation and this one will not disappoint!

The property looked exactly like photos listed. Had a great week stay in a central location between a bunch of National Parks. Owners are accessible enough if a problem arises, but also have a ton of privacy. Best rental I've stayed in, and worth every penny!

Perfect Kanab Getaway
Julie and Jim were amazing hosts, perfectly real and friendly. You can tell they have a lot of pride in where they live and what they are doing. The house was a perfect place to land after long days of exploring and being outdoors. Very clean and had everything we needed. The views from each room of the house were perfection. We will go back!

Get Away with the Grandbabies
We really enjoyed our stay at thus beautiful home in the wide expanse of the old Western Film landscape. Kanab is a great getaway with all kinds of outdoor activities. This home has large spaces for sleeping and gathering both inside and out. The home simply and beautifully decorated with all the basics covered. Enjoy!

National Parks trip
The property was beautiful inside and out. There were 5 in our group. We drove to different parks during the day and returned at night. We loved sitting around the fireplace and relaxing. Beds were so comfortable and room for all. Close to Kanab for dining and shopping. Could not have enjoyed it more.

This property is exactly as presented online. It was super clean and fit our needs perfectly. We felt at ease and at home! The home is wonderfully put together and well thought out. The backyard view is beautiful! The house is a short trip into town (Kanab) and nicely situated for day trips to Zion, Bryce, and all that the area has to offer. We loved this little piece of heaven and can’t wait to return!

This place was perfect. Perfect location - Zion, Bryce Canyon, North Rim, and Lake Powell all within an hour to an hour and a half. Kanab has a lot to offer as well. Perfect house and property. Beautiful home with no detail overlooked, on a great lot with awesome views. Horses, dogs, and goats on the ranch that make it feel more like home. Perfect hosts. Julie and Jim were friendly, accommodating, and helpful with recommendations for sights to see in the area. If we ever make it back to Utah we will certainly stay here again.

Perfect in every way!
We had a party of 6 and this home was amazing. Enough room for everyone. The location was perfect for us for what was on our agenda. The views were beautiful Julie couldn't have been any more hospitable. From the welcome sign out front to the fully stocked coffee bar. Extra chairs for relaxing on the front porch. When we go back to Kanab we will be booking this house again. Thank you Julie for making our trip a wonderful one.

Wonderful Experience!
Beautiful new home in a great location! From the decor and furnishings, to the view and ample parking, this home was perfect for our stay in the Kanab area! We wanted for nothing here and the hosts were close by to help us in any way they could. Quiet, relaxing, and comfortable, it was one of the nicest rentals we have ever stayed in. Great location out of town for visiting several parks and recreation areas. We had two trucks, two motorcycle trailers, and 4 motorcycles and had ample space for it all! Love it here!

Definitely a place to repeat for us
The house was amazing. Perfectly decorated, warm and cozy. My family and I stayed there and loved the home. The owners live on the property and were awesome and attentive. Kenab is a hidden gem and this place gives you access to all of the wonderful places to explore in souther Utah and it's surrounding area. We were able to go to the Grand Canyon, Bryce and Lake Powell / Glen Canyon easily from the house. It is also only 30 minutes away from Zion. Highly recommend this place without reservation.

Nicest house we’ve ever rented
Sometimes these places come across great in photos but are not quite as pristine in person. not so with this home. It was gorgeous! Every detail is thought out to perfection and every need anticipated. Very clean. We stayed over Christmas and Julie had the place decorated so nicely which our kids loved. Comfortable beds. We loved the animals and visiting with the owners. We visited Grand Canyon, Bruce canyon, and Zion during our visit and also took advantage of some local kanab attractions. Loved it and would stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Amazing retreat /homebas
This property is amazing!!! We stayed here with another couple and our 2 18yo sons. The owner provided everything from toiletries to spices for cooking. They were very responsive to questions or needs. I needed help with the TV when everyone was gone hiking and he had us fixed within 15min. Close to so many parks. Make sure you visit the tribal arts store in Freedonia. They have a wonderful variety of local jewelry and arts. We are looking forward to staying here again!! Thank you Julie and Jim!!
