"We were a group of women celebrating our 40th birthday’s. From the moment we arrived, the staff for so kind and welcoming. The resort is beautifully located. The pool was amazing and the food and drinks were superb. We tried a bit of everything- from hiking the reserve, SUP pool yoga, beach volleyball, karaoke, waterslides, the day spa…we decided to upgrade our rooms for the last couple days and made use of the Ocean View Rooms which have a bath on the balcony. You have to ask the guy on the gate which way to go, then he has you do a semi check in there, which holds everyone else up trying to enter the property. "We stayed here for one night while exploring the local area. Overall the experience was good, the room was comfortable and the location is convenient. But this is a very basic accommodation, and the bathroom was in need of some repair. The owner and family were very helpful and accommodating, and in general the people in this area are very nice. This is a great location for views of Mt Kinabalu, and for local hikes, and also for visiting the Desa Dairy Farm."
