"Nice resort and rooms looking onto pool and beach area have a nice outlook. Large breakfast areas, we were in the rasa wing with club facilities, food in lounge was nice, staff in lounge were lovely however the lounge is v large and often extremely busy. There isn’t really a beach as the coast has eroded and is all rocks. We had a pleasant stay however have been in nicer shangrila hotels."

"Large and comfortable room, nice shower, room safe and everything else you would need. I’m not sure how old the hotel is but it is just starting to feel a little dated in the rooms. Staff were super friendly and helpful, also nice to have the pool table and a few other activities in the lobby. "If you stay here, you must book a sea view balcony room….the ocean view day and night is beautiful…since it’s on a public beach, you sometimes get firework show from the locals too. The bed is so comfortable and enough room to sleep three. We had minor problems with a clogged sink and a broken shampoo dispenser but that was quickly resolved once we notified housekeeping (A on the response and even tidied up our bed). The infinity pool and children’s pool kept everyone very happy and cool. ...

"Under my circumstances the hotel was beautiful. Careful in the sun. I got a little sunburned because of a lack of enough umbrellas. But great place. Prices in bar and restaurants a bit high. Guess they figure if you can pay for the place, you won't mind the prices. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Staff incredibly friendly "
