Additionally, the place seemed to have a strong religious tone, which reminded me of a past news of a religious institution raided a hotel, asking elderly couples for proof of marriage. Despite our reservations, we decided to give it a try since our preferred hotel was fully booked. To our surprise, the stay turned out to be pleasant, especially due to the friendly staff. We had spacious room and the bathroom was reasonably clean with no hand soap and broken shampoo bottle and 1/3 rd of toilet paper roll. The reception desk staff were rude, and clueless. "Enjoyed out 3D2N stay at Mangala. The resort manager granted us a discount to upgrade to the Vana pool villa which was available at that time. Great villa to stay in. Very quiet and private, and enjoyed the pool and outdoor shower the most. Staff at the resort were attentive and helpful at all times. Overall a very positive experience. "
