"The property has a very nice living area, and a very nice and helpful staff. Our individual bedroom as very nice and comfortable, just a little small, but it even had a sink which was supper convenient. Property is at a walkable distance from the city center and the tourist attractions, as well as a shopping mall."

"The host was very friendly and helpful and beds comfortable, however there were a few things we were disappointed with the breakfast was very sparse(ie. No fruit or healthy items), I recommend bring your own things. There was a odd smell in the bathroom."

"Friendly staff, excellent location and cleanliness. Upper floor water supply was cut-off during my stay and have to access common bathroom downstairs. Overall experience is good, highly recommended! "

"One of the staff, Dini, was very helpful and suggested lots of things for us whilst we were in Ipoh. We had one of the rooms near the lobby/entrance of the hostel, which was a bit inconvenient at night e.g. if we had to go to the bathroom... but other than that it was a great stay! Not a big problem."

"I only complaining when I have real problems with the accommodation and first I always try to find the solution on the spot during the stay with the accommodation. I would have done this time as well if there would have been anybody in the property. I just got a message with an entrance door code to get in and the possibility to choose room number #2 or #3. "Love the location of the property, away from main road and set back, not far from Brinchang town. Beautiful property ground, love our room facing the mountain! Staff was very friendly. Service and food at The Lantern Chinese restaurant was very good. Breakfast buffer was good but could improve with more rotation of different varieties of food. We stayed 3 nights and breakfast quickly became very repitative."

"The building was beautiful, the staff were fantastic. It’s across from a park and walkable to all the town has to offer. Small quibbles were the internet - kept going in and out, and while the breakfast was more than plentiful, the food was not kept warm. Will stay again if we’re in town. "

"It was good, cleanliness surrounding the grout of bathrooms and luggage benches needed to be wiped on general rubbing marks. The swimming pool, and general flooring/ hidden areas should be better attention to cleaning, not just glossing over - The hotel is only 5 yo, and the effort of polishing/ cleaning of public areas, or wall paints needed better protection of weather - generally maintained to good standards. Thank you."
