"I loved the look of the hotel, it was very artsy. The rooms and hallways were hand painted & signed by the artist. Theres a working fish export business downstairs & a seafood restaurant upstairs. It's got a lot going on but it still feels quiet. The fish boats something operate during the night, so it can get a little noisy and smelly but that's living & working in a fishing village. The bed was firm but comfy and I had a great view of the lake and could watch the fishermen work from my balcony. The one lady on staff during my stay was fabulous; kind, friendly and super helpful. There's not a lot of english spoken in the area, even compared to Taiping."

"The staff were friendly and service was prompt. The setbacks were the rate charged which did not correspond to the facilities. I booked a family room and it was not what I expected. Cramped, toilet was dirty, no toiletries provided except for a miserable small bottle of shampoo and body wash. No laundry bags, carpet was slightly damp and smelled musty. The layout of the room is very disappointing. The air cond is placed in the wrong location. And the car park is to be shared with the customers of the food court. Couldn't sleep at night because of the noises from the food court and the trains which ply the track behind the hotel. The hotel needs a revamp. I'm very sure not to go back to this hotel. "
