"The property was lovely; our room had A/C and a mini-fridge with a freezer, and the balcony had a drying rack with clothespins. The bathroom had a shower, toilet, sink, and hairdryer, too! "The villa was quite remote in the mountains but that is also what made it so special. We came from the seaside resorts which was busy and crowded and this was a beautiful respite. The view overlooking the entire area from their restaurant was breath taking and absolutely romantic. Taking a hike around the villa was invigorating and the villa itself was quaint but everything was functional - with tv access, hot water shower. In all, a fantastic stay!"

"This accommodation is really for families looking for a long stay at the beach (my wife and I were just stopping for the night, and chose this accommodation because it is very close to the archaeological site at Faistos). You have direct contact with the owner and his manager, whose English is adequate but limited. If booking here, you must obtain directions from the owner, as it is hard to find using Google Maps, etc. Large apartment on the ground floor, near but not on the beach."

"We arrived after a late flight into Heraklion, the welcome was warm with the offer of a cold welcome beer. The room was more than we expected woth plenty of space and good amenities. Morning arrived and we had a fabulous breakfast out on the deck admiring the view over the valley. We only spent a night here bit wish we could have had 1 more. Highly reccomended"

"We stayed in October and it was just hot enough to enjoy the pool and lying about in the crisp but warm mountain air. Property is sweet and check in caring. Space feels like a home rather than business, with generous touches of cheese and tomatoes to welcome us. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. Bed was a little hard after 4 nights. But all round we LOVED this place."

"We spent a week here and went out everyday sightseeing and to different beaches, with lots of walks! Kamilari has a nice feeling about it, very friendly locals, some great Tavernas and a very well stocked supermarket. Not forgetting The Blues bar for cocktails! Vangelis and Tanya are really lovely people and the house was perfect Tanya even made me a birthday cake for my 60th!!"

"A beautiful villa in a great location. We were able to walk to the local village in less than 10 minutes which has great places to eat and a well stocked, small shop. Lovely view to the hills and sea with an easy drive to the nearest beach in 5 minutes. The villa is well maintained and really comfortable with a lovely outside area with large table and chairs for eating, plus great sunbeds and a plenty of shade. The pool is clean and great for a family. The teenage boys loved the downstairs...
