"We did not stay at this property - There is not an address or GPS coordinates for the listing, it took us a long time to find the property. It was very remote and not suitable for our family including 2 sr citizens. No internet as listed. The owner was uncooperative. We needed to scramble to find new acomodations. The owner would not negotiate on what we paid. We felt the property listing was misleading and since we did not stay there, we felt there should have been some type of a financial settlement"

"It was a basement with small windows like a cave.. difficult to find it and extremely cold. The water was never hot enough for the 3 of us.. unfortunately we left one day earlier.. it was a big disappointment.."

"A new hotel which has just opened in Kalavryta. The condition of the hotel reflected how new it was. There is quite an amusing lift arrangement where you go up in one lift and then back down in another. When not carrying luggage, best to walk around. The owner didn’t speak much English, but really made us welcome!! He was kind enough to open breakfast early a couple of mornings so we could eat before we went out. This was a continental style affair. We didn’t eat an evening meal or drink in the hotel, we went into town instead. The only criticism was the design of the bathroom. This is a wet room with shower, toilet and basin. We found the shower drained slowly and the floor doesn’t prevent water seeping under the door into the bathroom. There is no method to stop this water getting into the bedroom."

"Loved our stay at Kalavrita Canyon Resort and Spa. We were pleasantly surprised on our mountain drive up to Kalavrita as there is stunning scenery along the switchbacks. The hotel staff are exceptional; the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The decor of the hotel is very eclectic and interesting. There’s a sweet courtyard in the rear and pool. Underground and street parking available. Walking distance to historic sites and village shops/restaurants."

"We had a lovely stay in Lagkadia in the Stone dome house. It was a great exercise-style walk up and down from the main road. The house is authentic, clean, and cozy. The road to drive there is not for the faint of heart but totally worth it!"

"Brilliant hotel, great and helpful staff and a hearty breakfast. The pool is a full size outdoor pool with Mountain View’s…perfect. Great village and mostly Greek people so a genuine Greek experience. "

"Hotel was lovely, infinity pool was great. Delicious breakfast each morning. If we were to stay again we would hire a car. The walk to and from the town was a bit steep and the local sites needed transport. The scenic railway was amazing! "

"I booked the studio which was a semi basement. The decor was very tasteful just like the pictures. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. Located on a hill where you can sit outside at the bench area and enjoy the view of the town below. The Holocaust museum and the train station are Not a 1 minute walk, they’re about a 10 minute walk. "
