The house is in the owner’s beautiful garden. New loungers, a table and a parasol are available. You can share use of a grill and various benches in the garden. You can end the day relaxing in the garden with a Thüringer sausage and a beer from the local brewery.
The house of around 35m² consists of a large living room-bedroom with a double bed and a double sofa bed, a flatscreen TV for relaxing, a fully-equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils for self-catering, a stove with an oven, a toaster, microwave, kettle, coffee machine etc. The dining corner invites you to enjoy meals together after cooking. The shower room has a WC, washbasin, mirror, hairdryer and cupboards.
The Thuringian Rhön is in the north-east of the Rhön biosphere reserve, which also comprises part of Hessen and Bavaria. Your holiday home is very centrally located about halfway between Fulda and Eisenach and is therefore an ideal starting point for trips. Many discoveries await you in this unique cultural and natural landscape. Those interested in culture will be drawn towards the well-preserved timber-framed little towns or the typical features of the Rhön. The Rhön biosphere reserve, Wartburg, the Meininger Theatre, known well beyond the regional borders, Schmalkalden with its timber-framed houses, Fulda the cathedral town, the Merkers mine with its crystal grotto etc. await you. Sports enthusiasts can go mountain biking, paragliding or hang-gliding. A 60-km extensive hiking path network and many cycle paths start right by the house, such as the Feldtal cycle path along the idyllic little river Felda. Hiking, cross-country skiing, golf, mountain biking, cycling, roller skating, swimming, fishing etc. will also ensure that there will not be a dull moment.
