What a nice little place! Even though the office closed at 9 PM, our late check-in at 11:30 PM was accommodated. They put our tickets in an envelope and tape them to the front door of the lobby. The room was clean, the beds were super comfortable, and the pillows were amazing! Good shower and the towels were plentiful. This was a good place to stay the night!

Could Be Much Better
Check in was easy and the attendant when we checked in was nice. Breakfast had homemade rolls that were delicious. We had 3 rooms. In one room there was mold in the refrigerator. When we notified the front desk the next morning that attendant seemed to care less. It was cleaned up when we came back. However housekeeping was haphazard at best. Hand towels were changed out but not the bath towels. The garbage was taken out but no new glasses were left leaving no glasses in the rooms. Beds also were not made. Garbage cans outside were overflowing and cats were eating out of them.

A clean, quaint Christian motel; a bit aged, but very well taken care of. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the bed & pillows were better than most high end hotels I’ve stayed in! Slept great! It was a great location as we had a family wedding in Iowa City with a reception in Riverside. We would stay there again!
